Easy Dog Biscuits

From the Kitchen of: St. Paul Pioneer Press - Donna Erickson

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients:

2 cups whole wheat flour

1/2 cup corn meal

1 egg slightly beaten

1/8 cup olive oil

1 pressed garlic clove or 1/4 tsp garlic powder

2/3 cup beef or chicken broth

1/4 cup grated mild cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:

Heat oven to 300 degrees.

Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Use a wooden spoon or mix together using your hands.

Roll out dough on floured surface, about 1/4 inch thick. Cut biscuit shapes with cookie cutter.

Place on an un-greased baking sheet and bake for about 25 minutes or until lightly brown and firm.

Remove from baking sheet and place on cooling rack.

Store in an airtight container to keep the biscuits crunchy.
